Typically pickleball paddles have 1-2 layers of skin, however, Engage has developed a proprietary skin that is made of 6-layers that is still the same thickness as a paddle with traditional 1-2 skin layers. This 6 layer skin helps produce playability and maximum ball response. It is an extremely soft feeling paddle that helps hold the ball longer than before.
